 The Conference:
Expressive Art therapy is a relatively new form of therapeutic practice .It allows an individual to communicate their feelings and thoughts in more vivid and imaginative ways. This field emerged in the mid – 1990s. Expressive Arts Therapy is a holistic approach, which utilising various art forms such as imagery, dance, music, poetry, story-telling, dream-work, etc.
Objectives of the conference
  •       To build awareness about Expressive Arts Therapy.
  •       To showcase the application of various art modalities in Expressive Arts Therapy.
  •       To introduce the  participants to the significance of  Expressive Arts to personal wellbeing and growth.
  •       To provide updates on current trends in practice of Expressive Arts Therapy.
  •       To understand the role of creative expression in enhancing personal and professional effectiveness.
Who can Attend?
Social workers, Psychologist, Therapists, HR professionals, Special Educators, Teachers, Mentors / life coaches, NGO workers, students and anyone who might be interested.
Registration
Conference Delegates:  Rs 2,500/. This covers the fees for the 13th and 14th, the Conference Proceedings Book and CD and lunch and tea on both days. Last day to register online is 10th Feb 2018.
Student registration:  Rs 600/.  This covers the fees for the 13th and 14th, lunch and tea on both days. Student registrations can be made through their institution as cash payment. Special discount of Rs. 5000 for group registrations of 10 or more is available.
